TANGALOOMA ISLAND
Tangalooma Island is located on the west side of Moreton Island and its resort is a popular tourist destination all year-round.
Tangalooma has many activities available, and is reflected in the 75 different tours/activities on offer to the public.
Right now, Tangalooma have a very special offer available for PGIC students!
For $150 students can take part in;
- Sandboarding (like Snowboarding, but on sand dunes!)
- Access to the resort for 10 hours that includes 2 swimming pools, restaurants, bars and more
- Dolphin Feeding. Yes, that's right. You can feed the friendly dolphins of Tangalooma by hand!
- Access to VIP facilities that include showers, lounges etc.
a buffet lunch is also included in the price - and if you are worrying about the cost of sailing to the island - no worries! Your return transfers on the luxury catamaran (boat) are also included in the price.
Usually, this would cost over $165 - but now only $150...

HAPPY HOUR (SESSION 9)
Happy Hour last Friday was a lot of fun.
The drinks flowed, the conversation bubbled, and we hope a good time was had by all. As always, we appreciate your feedback on Happy Hour.
What did you like about it? What don't you like? Tell us (The CPs) about it, so we can make it even more fun for you next session!
In the meantime, check out some photos from last Friday's fun...
JOB START KIT
For many students at PGIC, working in Australia forms part of their overseas experience.
Students with a working-holiday VISA and who intend to work in Australia during their stay have the option of joining our Job-Start Kit...
So what is Job-Start Kit?
Job-Start Kit is a FREE weekly session with our CPs Greg & Renee.
Held every Wednesday during both lunch-breaks, Greg & Renee will be there to assist you with important aspects of working in Australia (eg. applying for a Tax File Number, how to create an impressive Resume for potential employers etc.).
We have now also incorporated information so you will know how much you SHOULD be paid per hour, as well as your rights as an employee.
To sign up for this very helpful session, just look for the sign-up sheet on the student noticeboard (near Gareth's desk) and write your name!
